Why "Lunker's"
A lunker is the big one.
The trophy walleye. The muskie that nearly snapped the line. The bass you couldn't quite land.
Around West Lake Okoboji, those stories outlive the fish. They get told and retold across barstools, around lakeside firepits, and in line at the food truck. Lunker's Lounge is where they live.
The bar opened with that in mind — a place to swap catches of the day and brag about the ones that got away. Bring the fish, bring the story, or just bring an appetite. All three are welcome.
